 Armstrong Optical will exhibiting examples of reference flats and wafers from Sydor Optics. Sydor Optics specialises in the double-side grinding and polishing of precision quality, flat-surfaced parallel and wedged optics, working with virtually all kinds of optical glass and many crystal materials (eg fused silica, quartz, BK7, Zerodur and CaF2) in many different sizes (upto 450 mm) and shapes (including squares, rectangles etc). Surface accuracy for references flats of better than λ/20, surface quality in excess of10-5 per MIL-O-13830A, surface roughness down to 0.4nm and parallelism to better than 1 arc second is available as standard.
Armstrong Optical will also be exhibiting their extensive range of non-contact optical metrology instrumentation.
