Armstrong Optical represents Sydor Instruments in the UK. Sydor specialise in supplying streak cameras into applications where the highest resolution and accuracy are required. The cameras, the ROSS 8200, ROSS 5100 and the ROSS 8600, are advanced data collection systems offering both internal temporal and spatial self-calibration with the highest precision and accuracy of any commercially available instrument in the X-ray/UV/VIS/IR wavebands.
The ROSS 8200 offers 1 picosecond spatial resolution with better than 1% measurement accuracy; the ROSS 5100 camera extends the range by enabling upto 10 channels to be recorded simultaneously using fibre optic input; the ROSS 8600 camera extends the range into the X-ray region with the entire package being compatible with a vacuum air bubble & TIM interface.
